Leafs defensive coverage was laughable on the Stamkos goal as well.

Ohgren had a heck of a game for Van. Nice addition.

Elvis is keeping the BJs in the game, 3-2 Ducks.

Tolvinen and Gaudette have scored second period goals, 1-1 in San Jose.

Its so good seeing Zary start to look like he did before his injuries. That’s big for the team going forward

The Kraken score three goals in the third period and go on to defeat the Sharks 4-2. The Sharks took the lead 36 seconds into the final period and then the Kraken woke up. Daccord got an assist on the insurance goal.

The Ducks defeated the BJs 4-3 in regulation time. Mintyukov scored the winning goal with 3:29 left in the third period.

You’d still have the three best teams in one conference. No format is going to satisfy everyone.

Don’t count out the Sharks in the race for the bottom. Suspect after the Olympic team gets announced that Celebrini cooks a bit and he is pretty much their entire team.

The Sharks fantastic rebuild has led them to have the 10th worst winning percentage in the NHL as of December 21st.

A major frontal system with two quick lightning strikes came in the second period. It is 3-2 Carolina, great game to follow.
The Blues 3rd goal, which was the GWG, was scored with 1 second left in the 2nd period from Faulk. That took the life out of the Panthers as the Blues scored 3 goals in the 3rd period and crushed the cats 6-2. Berggren and Thomas each had 3 points. It sure looks like that Hofer is the #1 goalie for the Blues.

The Hurricanes have blown 3-0 leads in their past two games. They lost 6-4 to Tampa Bay.

The Red Wings jumped out to a 4-0 lead and went on to win 5-2 in the first of a weekend series against the Capitals. The shots were 17-6 for Detroit in the 1st period. It's weird that Ovechkin was selected the game's 3rd star with no points and was a -3. Thompson stopped 36 shots in the loss. Gibson is having a resurgence in net for the Red Wings, he won his 7th straight game.
