This Canadian team is going nowhere.

Carter George?

Everyone knows that anyone with two first names is unreliable at best.

Parekh and Reschny out there to play the 6 on 5, definitely some trust from the coaching staff

Not a terrible game overall. Thought Canada was clearly the better team, and only the 5 PPs (vs 2 for CDA) kept it close.

Parekh was clearly trying to make plays and get his feel back, and I thought he had a good game overall.

Reschny was fine, and good at times, but I would have liked to se ea little more urgency. He also struggled on the dot.

He’s got a first name and a last name. They’re just in the wrong order.

Didn’t get to watch today. Sounds like Parekh and Reschny looked alright but nothing eilite at this point. Did any forwards stand out above the rest?

This is worse!

All I can say is that George has a lot of problems with you people and now you're going to hear about it!

No one on either team really stood out a lot. Parekh was as noticeable as any player on either team

Reschny was out there for many key moments in the game.

That is all that is needed unless Catton and/or Dickenson are loaned for the tournament.

He’s so offensively cerebral and his shot is unmatched.
Kids been lights out good since he put on skates.
Have to wonder about his parents trying to launch a youngster's ice hockey career without skates.

But at least they figured it out.

Maybe it’s that he is more one-dimensional where as Beer, Cootes and Reschny have more of a 200 foot game. In that case, he’s having to compete with guys that are expected to be the heavy offence players (eg. Iginla, Misa and McKenna) that are either older than him or have a much higher skillset on offence.

Especially when they try and hide it with a "Mc".

Derek Ryan, Brad Stuart, Bill Arnold, Kevan Guy, - you're still OK in my books.

Not you, James Neal.

You pretty much nailed it.

O'Brien is a kid who was a top six or bust option for Canada in a tournament like this and with Misa returning he didn't really have a spot. He doesn't provide value to a roster in a bottom six role as he's not great defensively, is highly reliant on the PP for his production, and is below average in the faceoff circle (even by OHL standards).

Does anyone have any insight on if Buffalo is going to loan Konsta Helenius to Finland for this tournament?

This time of year is so busy and I'm quite tired, so I laughed at this.

JOB would be a great target in a trade if Seattle is looking to add.
