Confession. I like Kelly Hrudey.
He’s a well intentioned Calgarian who tries to call it “even”. He cares about the work he puts in. He was a good NHL goalie. He is (at times) funny.
I acknowledge he is in the goalie union and often errs on the side of complimenting opposition players - even on the GD Oilers.
Bothers me a bit the heat he takes here.

Re: Hrudey, Sorry but he’s overly complimentary to the opposition to the point of favoring them over the team he’s paid to cover.
He tries way too hard to be neutral
You’re there to cover the Flames. Don’t have to go all NESN Edward’s over the team but maybe settle down on the “let’s have yet another look at that magical Celebrini play” type comments

He’s also been honest about his mental health struggles and willing to talk openly about it
Some of the stuff said on here is downright mean.

Same, I don't think he is anti-Flames at all - he's a nice guy who is complimentary of just about everyone
I also empathize with his struggle with mental health and how open he is about it
