Big relief. Collarbones heal nice but recovery would be lots of weeks with no contact.
I hope he gets a bunch of games with big minutes in the A. Seems like it would be a good ramp.

Are you confirming collarbone here, as opposed to shoulder?

I'm fine with this though because Kuznetsov is up and I imagine he'll just occupy the press box. And if he does end up playing it just helps the tank.

Actually, Honzek was the first recall at forward.

And Kuznetsov was recalled before Miromanov on D?
But why let facts get in the way?

I think there is a difference too between calling a guy up as an insurance measure, to sit in the box, v. calling someone up to play

To be honest I was just told collarbone was not broken, I don’t want to speculate as it’s more 2nd hand knowledge but I’m guessing more shoulder.

More likely it’s an AC joint separation, one of the most common injures seen in contact sports, and the main treatment is giving it time to heal.

Of course they're calling Miro up to sit in the press box. What else makes sense?

I don't really see it as an issue getting upset about, but doesn't it make just as much sense to call up someone like Bru? Parekh is also a rookie so it's not like you're expecting someone to replace a vet, and Bean and Pachal haven't played every game, anyway. I mean, literally they could have called up a young guy and actually play him.

Because there is unlikely to be playing time. Just press box. Better Miromanov sits with the Flames and Brzu plays minutes with the Wranglers.

Saw the actual hit for the first time. A bit of a charge IMO. And the glass sure didn't give much in that spot.

Okay but again, they don't have to sit whoever they call up. they could sit someone else like they have at times this season.

Well both Miromanov and Brzu have done well in the AHL and for sure Miromanov is sitting tonight. It's easier to sit a vet on a recall than a rookie.

They keep our collars from going all floppy?
Nothing looks worse than a guy in a suit, and his collar is all floppy.

Oh sure, but a properly fitting hockey jersey hides all that nonsense and thats all that really matters!
