I thought the 4th episode was the best so far. Which is good, because the 3rd was a complete waste of time that introduced no new information. The grenade thing wasn't needed because we already had ample evidence that the hive will do whatever the non-hive humans request.
The 4th episode was a huge step in the right direction though. Carol finally got around to asking some questions that she should have asked ages ago and consequently the plot seems to have actually taken a step forward. Rhea continues to be awesome, but I had no doubts about that aspect of the show.
From the podcast - that was the actual Mayor of Albequerque.
I wonder how much money Vince Gilligan is directly responsible for dumping into the local Albuquerque economy . He probably could have had the entire city council be the ones fixing up Carol's house if he wanted to

The podcast talked a lot about the grenade. They did research and discuss a lot how a grenade explodes, but Vince admits they put a bit of “Hollywood” on it.
As for Zosia:
Spoiler!
I assume Zosia will survive, because Carol admitted to herself she wants to #### her.
Whats the deal with this show? Is it a limited series? Planned for 'X' number of seasons? Is there a plan or are they basically making it up as they go along season by season?

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Gilligan says he's looking at 3-4 seasons. I have no idea where this show is going so I might bail and wait until we find out.

EP3 was huge, but just for the last minute. we learnt the hive mind was too naive to properly weigh consequentialist arguments into their actions, their completely egalitarian nature lets them sit back and watch a million terrible things happen so they are not the direct cause of 1 terrible thing, and that is their weakness.

So… what do think Carol saw on that shelf? Human eyes? Frozen brains? Every guess I take is gruesome…
