I didn't sign anything, but that makes more sense. The Polling worker I got...well, he was in no hurry to get the paperwork done, he was more interested in my name because he was a German immigrant.

I dont mind a little chit-chat, but we sort of do need to keep this process moving.

Went back to my voting station and now telling people it's 1 to 1.5 hour wait.

If the goal was to discourage me the succeeded. Have to pick up my daughter from dance and go home for dinner

Tried twice.

I gave my employees the day off to go vote. I figured we could spare an otherwise inauspicious Monday in October.

My guess? Gondek. She wasn’t my vote today but incumbents usually have an advantage of name recognition.

We should have a pool or something. My guess? Farkas.

Because Gondek got a chance and didn't impress I think she's going to lose some repeat voters.

She got in largely on an 'anyone but Farkas' vote but she didn't make the most of it.

We shall see, its going to be one of those two I'd think.

I think it's probably going to be Farkas. As long as it's not Sonya Sharp, I'll be ok with it.

I went at 4:15, was in and out in about 30 minutes but those lines really weren't moving too fast. When I came out it the queue was already double from when I went in. The election workers were all really great though.

About an hour at Westside Church. While I didn't vote for her I'd laugh if Gondek wins, that would be a good way to send a giant "F U" to Smith.

Lined up out the door and down the block from the school I'm at. This is completely ####ing unnecessary and ridiculous.

And now we wait.

All this research and turmoil all to find out that nobody I voted for is going to get elected.

I might as well have voted for Pol Pot and he's been dead for 27 years.

We are out in the foothills and sometimes the process is a little slow out here, so hearing some of the issues we decided to go a little early. We had no line, but the process to fill out form 13 or whatever it’s called was certainly time consuming and clunky.

There were no boats and no opportunities to vote out Trump, but my kids still enjoyed being part of the process.

Truthfully, I really hope Farkas can be an example of someone who has changed, especially if we have a chance of pulling some conservative support away from the insane people leading the right these days, we need examples of people who can be more thoughtful in their policy opinions after having been a thoughtless libertarian.

If he hasn't changed I guess its just another crappy politician, Albertans should be used to that.

Ok so what’s with crossing off the name on a voter list that there are repeat lists of? I could have voted four times if I got a different person each time.

We went just before the lunch hour. Was literally nobody in front of us, in and out after a minute.

So I understand that the form takes about 1 minute extra per voter to process.

In the last election, about 393,000 people voted.

Assuming the same this time, that's 393,000 minutes, or 6550 hours.

That's an extra 273 days we are all collectively standing in line for.

I'm okay with political violence at this point
