He said he would drop in to answer in bursts with silence in between. I'm sure all the candidates are busy right now, with 4 days until the election. Let's give it a few hours

I hope he does answer them (at least the legit ones) when he gets a chance. I'm in his ward and still on the fence.

Pretty heavy cross on your back for a little guy.
Myke,
What’s the maximum weight you think a 5’7, 135 pound guy could carry?

I was about to make a Monty Python joke reference... but it came out way more racist when it doesn't refer to sparrows.

Just logged in and saw the four pages of AMA. I guess CP folks go hard on being really engaged citizens...
I'll do a little burst of answers now, but definitely going to have to come back to this tomorrow as I'm heading back out to the doors soon. Truly though, I appreciate the questions and will do my best to get through as many as I can.

Unlike municipal elections where we vote for our Mayor, we don't cast a ballot directly for our Premier. That said, provincially I voted for my local MLA, Luanne Metz with the NDP.

Hopefully 135lbs, that way they can march down into their parents basement where tiny humans like that will not have to be seen.

Calgary has great plans for bike infrastructure but the problem is that too many of those plans are still sitting on shelves instead of being built. The city already knows where the safest, most logical routes should go, including through Ward 7, but without dedicated funding and clear timelines those projects keep getting delayed.
My plan is to change that by committing to build out the protected cycling network over the next 10 years, so that wherever you are in Ward 7 you are never more than a few blocks from a safe route. That means moving the cycling projects that already exist in planning documents into the capital budget and holding administration accountable for progress every year.
As for 20th Avenue NW, it is one of the most important east–west connectors in Ward 7. It links communities like Banff Trail, Capitol Hill, and Mount Pleasant and Tuxedo Park with institutions like SAIT, the U of C, and the Hospitals on a flat and direct route. It is already part of the city’s long-term mobility plans, but I also worry that as we've been building up teh density along this corridor there is going to be even more pushback because of a potential loss of parking. All the more reason to get this initiative going sooner than later, as we may need to look at how we use some of the boulevard space to accomplish this important piece of the network.
