Honzek looks great. His game will improve a lot if the coaches keep him next to Backlund and Coleman this year. They’ve got too many forwards when everyone is healthy so he might not, but I hope the coaches recognize this.

I can't watch the game right now, but I noticed Gridin has the least ice time (only 4 shifts and not PP time). Pourquoi?

He’s looked good. Noticeable and creating lots of chances. They may not have him on PP2 because they’ve got Parekh out there and don’t want the two rookies on the same PP units.
Lots of penalties so minutes don’t reflect his play.

That makes sense. i was just reading the game logs and saw he blocked a shot and wasn't mentioned after. I would like to see him on the PP though.

I think it was just preseason. I believe he attended Ti-Cats training camp to write about the experience rather than actually competing for a job.
