Makes me wonder if part of the plan with Andersson is to see if Parekh is just as good on the left side as the right, and maybe offer Andersson a shorter term deal at a higher AAV.

Future D pairs:

Parekh-Weegar
Bahl-Andersson
Solo-Brz

In the next 2 seasons, Mews and Morin slot in, replacing Bahl and Andersson.
We already know Weegar can play LD and RD, may even prefer LD. Why would we then ice Parekh on LD if they were paired together?

We are holding on to Andersson too long. That is what is causing these problems.

I fully support having Parekh on the left side. He's here for offence. We have 27 D in this org that specialize in checking and blocking shots. Having Parekh's blade in the middle of the O zone instead of along the wall is huge. YUGE.

The fact we're even trying this is helping me relax my concerns about the coaching staff's ability to think about offence.

Gawd I wish Beesly wouldn't scream like a facking idiot at the start of every Flames powerplay. Sounds ridiculously stupid.
