The Minnesota game against Vancouver is a back to back game on the road. Margin for error small, but there is still a fools hope.

If the majority of the owners want the playoff format changed, it will be changed. That's determined by the Board of Governors.

It’s why I wouldn’t be shocked to see a big regression next year for the team. It wouldn’t be the first time the sophomore slump strikes.

Oilers just scored a winner late. Blues stuck at 93. 2 games remaining.

A flicker of hope for the Flames here. If the Blues split their final two games, the Flames can catch them if they run table.

I did say a flicker of hope.

He’s not the reason they lost. We lost due to lack of goalscorers.

Why Huska didn't call a T/O is puzzling. Oh well, we all learn by our mistakes. Him too.

They need 3 points.

They have 3 games remaining and we have 4. We can get up to 96 mathematically. They are sitting at 93 points.

Ahaha, and just like that the Flames are given a shot of life despite losing.

Oilers beat the Blues in regulation, who can only add a max of 4 points with 2 games remaining.

Our sphincters live to clench another day.

Since when do you go after goalies? Usually you staunchly defend them

Up 3-1 with under 5 to go, goal scorers or not.

He wasn't sharp all night and was sliding too much on the tying and winning goals especially.

Twas a fun season, now can we see the kids play. Walking on eggshells for mistakes and it blew up in their faces. Enough

We lost due to an awful defensive collapse. No excuses for giving up a 3-1 lead with less than 4 minutes to go.

Tough way to essentially end their season. Still a flicker left, but only the slightest flicker. Friday should still be a good game, however - Flames still have to fight to stay in it, and the Wild will try to snuff them out so they can clinch. However.. yeah.. this loss really takes the fun out of Friday for the most part. Sigh...

Just continue rebuilding. They just need that explosive game-breaking talent. More than just Parekh (assuming he ends up as such, which seems likely to me anyway).

The Blues are more realistic to catch than the Wild now imo. Especially now that the Wild have added Kaprizov and JEE who combined for 6 goals today.
