Just terrible. Thoughts out to his family and friends/coworkers. He was great at his job.
When I was a kid a buddy of mine was a huge Whalers fan, he was a goalie to boot. Greg Millen was his favourite tender. Cuz of that awesome lid/cage he rocked.
I know Ball has been gone for a while but him and Millen were a treat. We were spoiled as fans.
I really liked Millen. He didn't seem old at all and seemed to be the same age for a long time. Very sad to hear this, especially since he didn't have a farewell.
Way too young. I will miss his colour commentary. RIP Mr. Millen. I'm sure there are some great games of shinny going on in the great beyond!!! Condolences to his family and friends.

The Peterborough newspaper saying they confirmed it was a heart attack FWIW. I almost lost my dad to one a few months ago when they were putting in a stent. Sometimes you can appear healthy and deep down there are silent killers.

My mom had a stroke a month ago. She was super healthy. You just never know. That’s why you should never take things for granted.

Thank you. Doesn’t make it better but it does.
Get your tickers checked out boys. Blood tests don’t determine blockage. Demand more. I get an ultrasound and mri every year and did not see a 65% blockage. I got a freebie bypass while they were doing bigger things. Don’t lie about those shortnesses of breathe like I did for 10 years. Interventions are actually not all that bad. I got a nice zipper.

Man that's tough news. He started doing color back in the 2&7 days In thought.
Still remember Game 7 vs Vancouver, in awe of Iginla for the second goal.
at the 1:27:26 mark.
An absolute staple for HNIc, always the third of fourth crew sometimes, but just a great color guy. A familiar voice from growing up watching hockey.
Him and Ball were great together the last few years, especially the Dallas series. Old school, but didn't mind having his opinion and sticking too it.
Whaaaaaat? That is shocking. I had zero idea he was even sick. Wasn't a huge fan of his work over the years, but I enjoyed him more this year than any other. Now he's gone. Wow. RIP.
edit: just saw the post about a heart attack. That makes more sense, although not any better.
