There was a linesman who retired last night after almost 1,600 games and 23 years. I’ve never heard his name on a game call. THAT is what a good liney should be.

That #74 wanted to be noticed. In a bad way.

Crap ending for the Flames, but their PP blew it. Don’t know why they seem afraid to shoot but they ALL (esp 4/52) hang on to the puck FAR too long and eventually either lose it, or bounce it off someone back out of the zone. Frustrating to watch.

I agree but the reason the D holds onto it too long is because Fwds aren’t moving quick enough to open ice. They just stand there. Nobody moves. So when the D gets the puck and evaluates next option they’re kinda stuck on what to do.

Similar issue, breaking out of our zone was a chore against the Knights but Fwds weren’t coming back enough to help or C’s not really giving great support many times.

Eichel is a beast. That’s why size, skill and speed are what you need in a number 1 centre. He’s just a bull
He's been a game changer for the Knights. Sabres really botched the way they handled him as he could have been a difference maker for them.

The Knights might have the best 6-man defensive group in the NHL - certainly in the discussion for it. Plus they have a big, fast, and experienced forward group that know how to play a 200-ft game. When they get a lead, they are tough.

The Flames are full marks for the comeback, and pushing it to OT. Just sheer force of will.

high danger chances 9-2 through 40 minutes and 12-6 overall and he had them tied at two int over time.

That's a stolen point by any measure.

You don't need to apoligize for a player on your team playing well
Nope ... same as the Kiprusoff years.

Never apologize for having a great player. He's one of 20 dressed and is doing what he's supposed to be doing.

Someone said how Stone was so wide open in the slot for a chance. It was all Eichel he won battles was holding the puck behind the net for what felt like hours and let stone get open and threaded a great pass.

He is big fast a big shot and great passer. Only thing he’s not good at is faceoffs.

Those PPs last night cost us the game. That was putrid and hard to watch.

Put InZane in ASAP!

While I'm at my proofreading best: it's Zayne Parekh.

Let's get our next and future superstar's name correct...Jarmoe Ingila insists. Just a gentle reminder.

Is there any goalie in the league you would take long term over Wolf right now? I know it's only one season, but to be this good in his first full time year is absolutely crazy.
You should change your avatar to this.
