A bit off topic but did anyone see the TSN segment where they asked Cheryl Pounder about who’s more likely to go further in the playoffs between the Jets and Oilers? She brought up that the Jets would have the easier path as they have to “face either Vancouver or St. Louis in the first round”. Of course TSN would completely ignore the Flames still being in the hunt for the last playoff spot in the west

I hope that the boys use that as a bit of bulletin board material.

My SN subscription ran out just after the 3-1 goal. I was so annoyed I decided to leave it, and the boys come back to win.

I guess it’s Wills and Mik from here on…

Watched the Severance season finale during this. The game was crazier. But it was close.

Are you crazy? We won, because I can’t watch the games anymore.

Type of win that galvanizes a team, I don't expect the Flames to give up early on any game for the rest of the season. Before tonight I wouldn't be surprised if most of the team had a mental block whenever we went down 2 goals knowing how hard it is for us to score.

You have a point, but sometimes (Vancouver game, for instance) it seems like the mental block kicks in when they're up a goal. ‘We can't possibly score another one, can we? Please please pleeeeease, opposing team, don't tie it!’

Missed the game, caught the highlights. Loved seeing Raz be the first one to congratulate Wolf after the win.

How different is it to have 2 different mentality goalies.

Smith/Markstrom: they would let their emotions get to them if they are having a frustrating game. Have blamed the team in front of them versus looking in the mirror. Markstrom/Smith multiple times during their career would get rattled and have not recover rest of the game.

Wolf/Kipper: always calm and same personality day in/day out. Don't let bad goals or games rattle them. Team wants to win for them and will always take the blame for a loss even if it isn't their fault.

We are blessed ladies and gentlemen. Going to be a great to watch Wolf develop.

I mean, it helps that most of this roster is very much aware of Markstrom's love for giving up 1-2 stinkers every game. They knew there was still a couple gimmies on the table going into the third.

That save wolf made with Mercer screening was amazing. Literally looking around the right side of Mercer and snags the puck on Mercer’s left with his glove. Wild.

Does Cheryl Pounder represent all of the opinions of TSN?

Pet peeve on mine. That’s one person’s opinion. Getting panties in a bunch and saying “of course TSN would ignore the flames” is so ridiculous.
