Sure, they got elite offensive talent by avoiding tanking. I would let some of Calgary’s existing young players mature and future draft picks join the team before declaring that one cannot get elite offensive players without tanking.

He did say he's not interested in only getting someone for a few months and wants players that can be around for years. I don't see a problem with that.

They should have won the game in regulation but hey it went to OT. A penalty in OT pretty much seals the deal with a long change and 4 on 3 so yes we can be bitter when Refs make a bad call. Let's take the point and hopefully after the break we get some calls like that go our way.
