I've never been bothered by the ads that are on the sidebars and at the top banner enough to feel the need for an ad blocker. I accepted that a lot of these sites need the ad revenue so it has never been a big need for me to install one. The new ads on this site have me reconsidering adding one as this is the first time that I have experienced a loss in functionality due to ads.

Yup, practically unusable on my phone, which I use 99% of the time to access this site.

That’s one of the good ads. You can actually access the close arrow thingy.

I think it’s because these ads break that unwritten internet advertising code. Remember back in the day sites would instantly open 40 windows, or try to install malware, these cross into that territory of against the rules. These ads are PETA protestors in the meat aisle in Safeway where it becomes justifiable to kick someone the face of it happened in real life.

I am very happy to help fund CP with Ads. It is just that one particular ad when using mobile that I would like to see gone.

I don't have an issue with ads on the desktop but experience the same phone issues as the image attached a few posts earlier. It pops up randomly and several times as you scroll through threads. Sometimes the exit arrow doesn't actually appear and its not as simple as just clicking past it but rather needing to zoom out to locate a way to actually see the site.
