As for semi realistic “dream” 90s cars, it’s funny looking back at some of them. Like why did I think a Pontiac Grand Prix was awesome for a while? Also went through an Eagle Talon phase.
Honestly, my uncle's 97 Grand Prix GTP two door was awesome. Head up display, which was insane at the time. Actually comfortable even in the back seat. Heated seats (another 90s rarity). They were cool and pretty zippy. That thing took down my brother's Prelude and he was maaaad.

Eagle Talons were also cool. AWD and pretty fast...full-on 90s machines.

Not a 90s car but the 87 Buick Regal Grand National with its turbo charged V6...

As an early teenager, got Road and Track and Car and Driver mags.
I remember the 850 coming out and car and driver reviewing it.

A few years later, the refresh 93-94 Probe GT caught my eye as a 17 year old

I was actually partial to the 4 door imprezzas back in the 90's. But the two door was still cool.

I also had a MY00 WRX, but I got it brand spanking new in 1999 so I think it counts.

Still such a puzzling naming decision by Ford. Not only is it a name that most North Americans were never really sure how to pronounce, but why give it a name that sounds like a brand you already have? They should’ve just made this thing a Mercury in the first place, since that was always trying to be a slightly more sporty brand anyway.

Gah, my mistake. I thought they squeaked into the early 90s. These were just such a wonderful oddity.

DSM's. By far my fondest car memories. I did so many mods myself to my 1G Talon and 2G Eclipse and it got to the point I could to a complete turbocharger swap in a matter of a few hours in my garage.

Favorite vehicle or your first vehicle?

I always wanted an Eagle Talon. God I thought those were so cool. And Mark III Jettas.

Username checks out.

I was driving a 1988 Ford Tempo L in grade 12. The L stood for "luxury". Jealous? Youuuu're jealous..

I loved the late 90's Honda Civic Si coupe's. Blue color.

DOHC, V-Tec!

There was a guy in my town a few years older than me who had one with white rims. Looked real sharp. Still jealous!
