Oh stop. You can like one thing more than the other without making stuff up. The tournament wasn't made by TSN but they certainly helped popularize it in the mid90s with the "drive for 5" wins in a row. Canadians ate this tournament up and most players, especially for Canada, are already drafted by the time they shine in the World Juniors.

The Spengler Cup ain't some super patriotic thing bro. Do you think Joe Thornton and Rick Nash are traitors for playing against Canada in the Spengler Cup?

Well that escalated quick. It's now 5-0 Davos late in the 3rd.

Boy that has to suck hard for Straubing as they were far and away the better team in the 1st and most of the 2nd period too putting the home Swiss side under seige for a good part of the game. Hollenstein has been standing on his head for HCD though.

Think HC Davos should owe their goalie Luca Hollenstein 5 premium steak dinners for that performance.

Without that goalie performance Davos has no business winning that game at all.
