you're not wrong, but I wouldn't want to get caught holding the bag. Might as well trade him as soon as a decent offer hits the table.

Meh. He was an add on to the Lindholm trade to make money work. The value from that trade was achieved with a 1st, 4th and two prospects. If they get a third that's three picks plus two prospects for Lindholm. If not, it's still a good trade.

Who are you really going to sell? Teams would be interested in Weegar & Andersson, but my opinion is that you keep those guys during the rebuild. And you certainly aren't going to pull the plug on guys like Zary, Coronato etc.

Ain't no one trading for Kadri, Huberdeau, Backlund, etc.

You might be able to get something decent for Kuzemenko if he gets his head out of his ass soon.

Kuzmenko will need to start actually producing to be worth anything.

He's currently a negative player and was at the time we traded for him, as he was simply a cap dump to make the trade work.

His hot finish last year was very nice, but he's regressed again.

But if he's not scoring, he's of little value to anyone.

We are already holding the bag and no decent offer will come until he gets on a hot streak.

The fact of the matter really is that we're not playing him effectively. He seems interesting as a person, but the Flames, at least outwardly, are probably not going to re-sign this guy.

So he should be getting good minutes to showcase his talents so we can get something for him at the deadline.

After that? Happy Trails Kuzmenko. So long and thanks for all the fish.
