Canucks look to be giving up. I’ve never seen a team down 7-2 go away so quietly. No nastiness??

Cup parade back on! The Canucks should be ashamed of themselves. Embarrassing effort against a terrible team that they should have demolished.

Bieksa just noting Canucks had a rough schedule of a week. League darling oilers off since Wednesday. And Oake asks McMuffin if this is the turning point of the season. Just go bl*w him Oake.

That game was a great (?) example of how the refs can completely change a game.

The trip on Hughes should have been called, and the Canucks would have had a PP for the 1st 2 minutes of the 3rd, down a goal - if they score, new game. But no call, then a call on the McDavid play (literally the exact same play), and the Oilers are on the PP instead of the Canucks. They score and it's 4-2 and the Oilers roll from there. And the Canucks - and Lankinen in particular - wilt.

I’d be raging if I were Tocchet. League darlings get the call again.

The NHL clearly issued the protocol to the referees for operation “Get Them In”………….. the league tries to see if they can stand on their own two feet at the start of each year, and when they can’t the game management starts.
