I realize there was a first. Not so much commenting on the overall trade which was fine. Just haven’t been impressed with Bahl at all.

Ok well I’ve only watched like 3 games this year I guess I’m missing something. He certainly wasn’t good tonight.

"Johnny, Billy, Timmy... remember - don't jump on the ice until the guy you're replacing comes off!"
Absolutley when you are about to pull the goalie you need to make sure everyone knows who they are replacing. This isn't a random line change in the middle of the game.

In what ways? He has been our 3rd best Dman, by a significant margin, IMO. What don't you like?

Weird loss. I never felt the Flames were out of it even when it was 2-0.

Have we watched the same team? He's been the best surprise of the year for me.

Could of.

Well he left Draisaitl completely alone out front who then scored 20 seconds into the game. Then the second goal against he was out of position in the O zone which led to the footrace back and the trailer scored

From what I’ve watched he just seems out of position and a bit lost, especially with D zone coverage. And his reactions look slow…he’s often a fraction behind on cycles etc

But hey it could be just sample size but I don’t think he looked good at all tonight and in one of the other games I watched

Felt like they deserved better. This team works hard and doesn’t give up. It feels a bit like last year that if this team is going to surprise then the young kids will need to carry the team. Hoping some of the kids keep growing and we see them take over more of the important roles in this team, though it does feel like we are going to have quite a few nights where they will be a goal or two short.

If you’re feeling bad about regulation losses, you’re doing this year wrong.

Wasn't able to watch the game. Was hoping Lomberg would dummy Pissy at some point. Pissy with three points. No tweedledum, but tweedledee somehow made an impact.

Rebuild or not there's nothing wrong with being annoyed with losing to an overrated Oilers team. They could atleast win those.

No excuses about talent or rebuild or tank or whatever

Flames could have and probably should have won that game they made a few dumb mistakes. Oilers are nothing special I bet the Devils pound them.

You've got to take the good with the bad with players like Pospisil. Everyone is always talking about how the flames F-ed with Sam Bennett. Bennett also had 100 PIMs in 69 games last year, with only two fights.

High energy physical guys are going to take penalties. Maybe aren't planned and will just happen randomly, which means they can happen at really bad times.

Honestly I thought that bench penalty was more inexcusable.

I thought there could have been a hold on Ekholm going in. But stupid Pospisil stayed on his skates, and tried to lift a stick, and that went awry. Should’ve just dove when he felt the hand from Ekholm like Bouchard would have done
