Hanley was pretty bad last game, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt after not playing all season.

Yeah, that’s literally what objective means. Wolf has a much better save percentage and 50% more wins than Vladar. Small sample size sure, but that just makes the difference statistically bigger in relative terms.

It's the opposite of objectively, actually.

The post was pretty clear that their seasons have been nearly identical so far, and yet fans see one as awesome and the other as 'a career backup', because that's a) what they want to see, and b) what they believed coming in.

I think this is what the Flames will look like when good teams decide to show up. Nothing unexpected really. Hopefully they can get a top five pick or luck into talent some other way because it's so obviously needed.
