Oh boy. Another manager in my league dropped CMC. I managed to get him and stash him in my IR spot. Looks like he might be back after the bye week, so week 10.
I think I have a decent roster. PPR with a flex (w/r/t) and super flex (qb/w/r/t)
QBs Hurts, Mayfield, Darnold
WRs ARSB, DJ Moore, Nabers, BTJ, Mooney
RBs Josh Jacobs, D. Swift, CMC (IR)
TEs Kelce, Kraft
K McLaughlin
DEF Broncos
It's an 8 team league.
I could strengthen my RB more, but hopefully CMC comes back to do damage.
Players I'm willing to let go are Darnold, Mooney and Kraft (I guess depends on which TE does better)

Yeah Carr is out at least 2-3 weeks it sounds like. I just added Tampa's D (Saints opponent this weekend) with mine on a bye as their backup and 3rd stringer have never started an NFL game before.

I picked up some Pats players for this upcoming game against Jacksonville with their putrid D. I am tempted to start Maye:
Kyler vs Chargers D
Or
Maye vs Jaguars D
Kyler has been hella mid for me this season. Maye had a couple picks last week but for the most part it was a good day for a QB who played against the Texans. He should have an even better day against the Jaguars but wanted second opinions if that is a dumb idea.
Also have Mason vs KC D or Gibson v Jaguars D. With Stevenson out and KC with stingy rush D I felt like Gibson was a no brainer. Much easier than the decision above.

So if I start Nacua, surprisingly activated today and likely playing tonight, he sees limited action and makes 2 catches for 14 yds. If I bench him, he grabs 9 for 125 and 2 TD.
Any thoughts? My WR aren't as bad as most, but I did get a whopping 2.8pts (standard) from 4 WR in lineup last week.
I will be playing 3 of
T Dell
DJ Moore
J Jennings
J McMillan
P Nacua
and likely not R Pearsall

Really should've started Jameis Winston over Josh Allen...never thought I'd say that.

Made playoffs in 4th place at 8-6, tied with 2 others but get 4th because points scored (3rd in league).
Good luck to all still with a shot to win

First week of playoffs is that week where a guy like Barkley who's been a stud for you all season has that 14 carries for 40 yards no TD's and a fumble day. Ja'Marr chase gets 2 catches for 13 yards. Your opponent has Sincere McCormack go for 220 yards and 3 TD's that week, and Elijah more adds in 10 catches for 130 yards and 2 TD. Leaving you saying what the...for 9 months. It's a right of passage.

The final for our 16 team office league is actually this weekend for some reason.
First time I've played FF in over a decade, but I was a FF commish for years back in the day. Made the final once, but I've never actually won a FF title before...I'm due. Both my WRs underperformed yesterday, but with Josh Allen, all things are possible.

I have 52 points (standard scoring) on the bench in Nix, LaPorta and Jameson Williams - with a QB, WR and TE to play. Sigh
I do currently have over 100 on board and would have it in the bank had I put the right guys in (which would be a season high).
But it's definitely not over yet. Have made a finals only once before but never won. Hoping to get there and give it a shot again.

Good luck the the finalists this year. I’ll be crushed if I don’t win this year. Been selling out for draft picks two years in a row then went all in this year. No picks til the 5th next year.
QB: Jackson
WR: St. Brown, London
RB: Barkley, Henry
TE: Andrews
Flex: Gibbs, G. Wilson

Also in finals.
The fantasy gods smiled on me last week. Twice in a row may be hoping for too much.
Good luck to all with something to play for!

I lost the championship game by 1 point, haha ouch. Josh Allen was propping me up the past few weeks, he picked a tough weekend to fall back down to earth. Fun season though.
The guy who beat me and won the 16 team league had Sam Darnold as his starting QB. Never thought I'd live to see that..

Fickle fantasy gods not smiling on me today. His 2 scored 35, Fairbairn got me zero.
Strategy now switches from high floor guys to boom/bust potential high ceiling guys.
Football 5 of 6 days. Very nice
