I hope your family gets that NHL payday dear sir!

I hope your son gets offered a contract by the Oilers and publicly rebukes them. That is the real dream.

The absolute dream! I remember him as a kid going to Edmonton for a tournament and he undid his car window and said "man it stinks here"!!
Good parenting

I hope the Flames end up signing him! Flames need all the center help they can get.

Great starts for both for sure.
If you look at U-21 scoring in the NCAA:
Muthersbaugh - 13 points - Undrafted
Wood - 13 points - 1st Round (15th OV)
Knuble - 12 points - 4th Round
Hoskin - 11 points - 4th Round
Suniev - 10 points - 3rd Round
Perreault - 10 points - 1st round (23rd OV)
Hagens - 10 points - Likely 1st OV
Buium - 10 points - 1st round (12th OV)
Rinzel - 9 points - 1st round (25th OV)
Snuggerud - 9 points - 1st round (23rd OV)
So in some really good company putting up similar production to some highly touted 1st rounders so far.
It's actually very interesting you have some great starts to the year from Flames players in our development leagues:
NCAA: Suniev, Hoskin both in the top 10 of U-21 scoring.
OHL: Battaglia in the top 10, Parekh/Misa/Mews in the top 30 of U-20 scoring
WHL: Basha in the top 25 of U-20 scoring
QMJHL: Morin and Gridin both in the top 25 of U-20 scoring
AHL: Kerins and Pelletier (and Duehr, Hunt, and Bishop too) all in the top 20 of scoring

Big drop off from Hockey East (UMass -- Suniev) to Atlantic (Niagara - Hoskins).
Not all conferences are equal.
Still, good players can come out of anywhere.

Powerplay goal... Is that the right term? It sound vaguely familiar, but not something I've heard in a long time.

Also got 2 mins unsportsmanlike conduct for waving at the Providence bench in celebration
Apparently the 2nd time this season he got a penalty for celebrating after scoring a goal.
