Normally I'd likely agree with you, but this ain't your Grand-pappy's Brighton & Hove...they are a conscious, well trained and well organized team.

And how in the world this works with FFP is beyond me. Maybe the plan is "buy everyone today so that when we get banned from transfers we have tons of players"?

1. Its a joke.
2. They've got backers with unlimited funds. They can just 'Pull a City' and get an outrageous shirt and name rights deal and *poof* they're compliant again! Like magic!

sad to see Scott McTominay leave for Napoli. Decent fee (€30m), but he was a valuable squad member. Good backup who fancied an important goal ... in the end, they had to sell someone to fund the signing of Manuel Ugarte from PSG, but I hate that it had to be McTominay.
