Incredible win.
The 96 race is infamous & this will hold a special place in Canadian Olympic history as well.
So happy for those 4 racers after the individual Olympics they had.

Wow I’m just catching up but what an amazing win. I honestly felt kind of bad for De Grasse because he was a bit washed of and none of the men excelled individually but omg wow they pulled off the miracle upset for this one. I’m speechless.

Has anybody seen an estimate of when the wrestling (57kg women's freestyle) bronze match is going to be? It's 13th on Mat B according to the schedule but I have no idea what that equates to.
For those that don't know it's Hannah Fay Taylor of Canada against Helen Louise Maroulis of the US. I know nothing about wrestling but I'm sure we will win
It's up next so maybe at 1pm?

Thank you for sharing. Always good to see America consistently be arrogant pricks and then embarrass themselves.
Especially Lyles. His antics have rubbed me the wrong way since the first round of the 100m dash. I know he's supremely talented (and that 100m dash runners are the prima donnas of the track & field world, so big egos are expected), but he takes the cockiness to a whole other level.

Coming up next on CBC apparently!

Post race to Lyles, as the kids would say; cope.
His sudden change in behaviour from before the 200m Final to after the race is something I’ll smile about for awhile.

I like Lyles though, mostly for his rant on the NBA winner not being 'world champions'.
But yeah, he's a bit much even in the big ego world of sprinting.

Ya don’t get me wrong I love his take on the NBA winners and things like that. And I like the big charismatic personalities in sprinting, even his. It is just fun to see an American athlete like that get dunked on for once.

Lyles is an interesting guy for sure. Diagnosed ADHD, Dylexia, Asthma, Depression and Anxiety
He sure had to overcome a lot to become best in the world. He’s got a lot of personality yet rubs many the wrong way, but I found myself hoping he’d do well given his struggles
Yet I’m also completely happy to see the Canadians shove it down the USA throat, and Lyles comments make it even sweeter
Oh if you are Canadian you have to love Saturday Nights in Georgia! Don Wittman is looking down smiling right now
Don't follow track at all and hardly the Olympics, but will still remember the names of Robert Esmie, Glenroy Gilbert, Bruny Surin, and Donovan Bailey for the rest of my life.

Can add a arrogant dirtbag piece of #### to his self diagnosis list I guess. Eh, #### him.
