I don't know man, if you can't jog without getting a horrible charlie horse or have bad knees or whatever, maybe don't go TAR?
Still kinda stunned they weren't eliminated.

At least it's only an hour long.
I didn't think most of the teams were too bad, though not sure what was wrong with Dorothy to be complaining just of running / walking within a few minutes of the start. Gonna be a short race for them I think. My teams were decent, though Katie cost them probably a second or third place finish with simple mental mistakes. Hopefully they improve.

Ya, do people go into these things totally blind? Maybe try running a block before signing up? Maybe they need to have tryouts so people don't embarrass themselves.

on the other hand, embarrassing themselves is good for the producers.
although it's wild they have like 4 for pro (of varying levels) athletes on this season)

I was amused that not only did two of those athletes manage to almost immediately somehow lose $500, they so very quaintly thought it was going to be there when they eventually decided to go back to look for it...

I thought it was weird that they were given $500, then didn't go anywhere that they needed to spend any money and everything was walkable.
I thought the ball players might get screwed at the arcade and be forced to do the memory challenge, but even that didn't seem to require them to have money.

There is no way they get $500 for 1 leg of the race. Pretty sure they are screwed next episode and prob have to go beg for money

I was expecting a penalty for Kevin & Gurleen when they grabbed all the balls from the other game slot. Kinda felt like cheating.

They mentioned at the end of the episode that they found the money in their backpack.

Did they? In the episode? When?
I just rewatched the end of the episode, and the last thing we hear from them is Tyson saying, "We learned in the first leg, I should be carrying the money". Nothing about finding it that I could see.

Haha, I won't mind so much if they end up begging on the streets in Canada. For awhile, original TAR did that in non-elimination legs. Took the contestants money. But it was a bad look for rich American TV personalities to be begging for money in poor countries, so that stopped.
Didn't get a chance to watch last week's episode until tonight, as I was on vacation, but yikes, Dorothy. I was back and forth between choosing them and choosing Brad and Sam for my second pick. I'm regretting the choice I made. Hopefully she can get it together.
My other team did a decent job, so there's hope that I'm not totally eliminated in the first few weeks this time!

Not too bad of an episode. I truly don't understand going on a "Race" show, and being a pretty much utterly useless physical person. Dorothy was nothing but an anchor. Olus seems like a pretty good fellow to share a beer with, though. I'm a bit surprised that with the struggles they had, they didn't get out of the water and watch the demonstration again until it was way, way too late.
Kevin and Gurleen are...interesting. Can't communicate well, but sure good at suckering other teams into thinking they are with them when they are simply looking for any opportunity to sink a knife in.
I, too, thought that there was going to be real horses, and was all WTF at what we got.

Kevin seems like the kind of guy who would steal a hockey puck over the glass from a kid, and gloat about it the rest of the night.

He's a professional poker player and other reality shows have been Big Brother (which he won) and The Traitors... basically all stuff that relies on cheating and manipulating opponents. It's what we knows and he's won a lot of money doing it, so I guess just trying to use it again here.

Dorothy and Olus were out of their league in this show. Put them out of their misery, I guess.
Michael and Amari are way too trusting to be hanging out with Kevin. I hope they realize that before it's too late.
