The biggest problem with the Wild kit is the Tides have almost the same one but it looks better IMO
I like Vancouver's and Ottawa's, Ottawa's also plays in the same colour sphere as Calgary to my eye.
I feel like everything with the NSL unfortunately is super late to the game. Almost like they announced the league a year too late to successfully hit the ground this spring. Hope I'm wrong

Here's a close up of the Wild's replica kits. I am not a fan so will pass on buying this one. There don't appear to be any good photos on the team's website of the authentic but I don't really see a difference outside of the badge is actually a badge on the authentic.
Replicas are $110 adult / $90 youth, and authentics are $170 adult. Customization is $45.
Managed to snipe a season ticket code and pick up 3 tickets for the home opener. Section P row 15 was $32. If anyone is interested I'll DM you the code.
First game is Wednesday at 8 pm. Looks like Ship and Anchor, Elephant and Castle and Goal Diggers (which is the women's sports focused pub where Tipperary's use to be) will be showing games this year.
I think there will be busses from Elephant and Castle too but I'm not overly familiar with that stuff for NSL games.#

Didn’t catch much of the first half but from what I saw the Wild are getting thoroughly worked. The Rise look stronger technically and most cohesive as a unit. But it is only the first half of the first game, long way to go!
I watched the first half. Calgary can't string more than three passes together. I am impressed with the fitness levels of these women, but I think it is going to be a tough sell.
Production looks great and they even managed to not have BC Place look like a dark depressing place which it usually does on tv. I think the roof is open which probably helps a lot!
Thought the first 15 minutes was fairly even with the Wild getting the best chances. After that, it was all Vancouver. Poor giveaway from O'Neill and poor tackle from Moore leading to the penalty.
Feels right that Quinn gets the first goal in league history. Looks like a very good crowd and the production quality is good as well.

I don't know as much about the women's game but the Wild don't strike me as a strong team. Thought they were outclassed for most of the night.
IMO Moore was the best player on the night even with giving up the penalty. Sawicki really grew into the game and her and Thurton combined well on the right to at least try and get chances created. Steer impressed me most in attack as she got into good areas. Stewart looks a good player in midfield.
Stordy had a rough game at RB, although she was going up against a national team player so it could be a combination of a poor game and a great game by Ward. O'Neill looked like it was her first game in 2 years. Lots of hopeful attempts at goal from outside of the box and missed passes.
14018 at BC Place in attendance. Production quality was good. I'm hit or miss on Amy Walsh as she plays up the misogyny angle too much for my liking on Footy Prime but she was good on commentary.
Really curious to see how May 11 goes.

We got our tickets for the game. Is parking available at the stadium? I've heard for Stamps games it's season ticket holders only, but can't imagine the same would apply here.
