That recent Ghostbusters movie had a fake mansion set in a field out SW of Calgary by Granary Road.

There is a studio just off of Glenmore & Stoney that is doing a lot.
Netflix series the Abandons is being filmed here at the moment (Lena Hedley & Gillian Anderson).

A new movie starring Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson and LaKeith Stanfield will begin filming in Calgary on Monday August 19.
According to ACTRA the film – called Die, My Love – will be in production in the city and the surrounding area from Monday, Aug. 19 to Tuesday, Oct. 8.

I watched it and it was pretty good. I forgot it was filmed here until I recognized North Hill Mall.

Watched the preview, it makes it look like the whole thing is set in Kananaskis.

For some reason Tye Sheridan looks a lot like Sean Monahan to me in this preview, not sure if I noticed that for X men or Ready Player One.
