The style that the Panthers play will do that to ya.

I said this earlier, but going through Tampa and Boston, their two biggest rivals and possibly toughest competition, has galvanized this team. I'm pretty sure they believe they can beat anyone and deserve to be in the cup final again. Tenacious, physical, good defense, opportunistic goal scoring, good special teams, good goaltending. Selke winner, and Vezina finalist...a great combination for playoff success. There's nothing missing. They just have to execute and they'll win the series.

Careful, they could get goalie'd.

They drag other teams to the mud whether they like or not. It's impressive.

If Swayman didn't stop them the way he was playing, I doubt Shesterkin will be the lone difference maker.

Swayman was in god mode these playoffs. Very impressive.

Could say the same about New York but I agree the Panthers looked better that period.

Fair, I just think the Panthers are better defensively as a team. Rangers can score some goals too, so we'll see how it plays out.

But you can't fault me for my bias as a fan.

No way I could imagine the coilers even close to competing with either of these teams. Florida actually finishes checks, which is becoming rare it feels like.

I think NYR is not good enough to beat the losers.
I hope FLA beats NYR in 4 or 5 games.

A pretty nothing period, which is perfect for the road team.

Panthers are a great 3rd period team. Hope they put a nail in the coffin early.

All the teams left are easily good enough.

They almost lost to the other losers before they decided to no-show back to back games.

Let's be clear, pretty much anyone that made the playoffs minus LA & WASh was "good enough to beat the Oilers".

They just beat the top goalie in the playoffs last round, now they're up against the second best one.

My big fear is Trouba running Barkov and Ekblad.

The Panthers are putting a wall on their blue line as they seem content with the 1-0 lead.

Is Trouba the one who reinjured Pelletier?
