I want Tyson to win for sure. All I’ve seen though, is Tyson looking awesome in short little flurries. I hope he has enough stamina and endurance to do the job, but I’m prepared to be disappointed.

I doubt Paul has the punching power to really affect even an old Tyson. Dudes always had a chin, it's what made him so menacing. He'd go in and destroy you while taking some of your best shots.

I don't know, I don't see age being an issue outside of endurance. If Paul can somehow defend and clutch and grab his way to 5+ rounds, then yeah I can the judges going his way. But in no way shape or form am I expecting Paul to KO. Tyson.
That’s a fair point. Tyson had a chin.

I feel like they're banking on everybody tuning in to see Tyson stomp him, only to be disappointed. Paul is a complete clown, but he's still only 27 and in solid boxing shape, and has beaten other established (middle aged) names. Dude needs to stop with the elder abuse and actually fight people his own age, but he's not going to be a pushover for a 58 year old Tyson.

I'm just envisioning Tyson burning out after a round or 2 (and frankly not really wanting to take Jake's head off anyway, methinks there's a bit of a gentleman's agreement in place there), then Jake holding on for some lame judge's decision W (or it's called a draw). Basically, I don't think we're going to get what we're all tuning in for. But I hope to high Holly I'm wrong...

My intern is a big Boxing guy which is pretty much the only reason I know this is going down.

Personally? I know nothing about Boxing. But I think Tyson might kill him.

I wouldn't fight that guy.

So let's say this is actually scripted for Mike to take a dive...

Would you trust that Mike Tyson would actually follow a "script" once he's in that ring...

Tyson has seriously trained hard for this. Hes in no real danger from Paul. A 2 minute round in a smaller ring means paul must fight.

I actually think paul is dumb enough to try and go toe to toe. If Mike can work in off the jab with that tremendous speed and throw 3 to 5 punch combos Paulnis dead.
I see everyone saying Mike will gas himself in the first 45 seconds leaving himself vulnerable but the damage inflicted on Paul in that time if he survives??? We will see.
Paul will either turn this into a hug fest, or if hes smart he better be ready to not let Mike inside .
If Mike head hunts right from the start Paul stands a chance.

IF MIKE body body head punches theres no way Paul sticks around after feeling the power.

I hope Paul is carried out of that ring on a stretcher or worse tbqh.

Please don't be rigged !!! Scripted!!! Fixed!!! How truly sad that would be . I want to see a beat down of epic proportions honestly.

Ill be shocked of this goes 4 rds .

Just for the record, I wasn't implying I think Tyson would take a dive or it's a scripted fight...no way in heck Tyson does that. I more mean I'm expecting a similar vibe as the Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. fight, where he was trying, but clearly wasn't out for blood like his old days. More of an exhibition mentality & one more payday (I don't blame him). Complete with the same eye-rolling draw result if it goes the distance.

Oh man would I love to be wrong though, watching Paul get rocked through the ropes for a KO would be amazing lol. Tyson could run for president after that.

The idea of Mike Tyson being paid to take a dive and going rogue brings back a disturbing image of Bruce Willis and Ving Rhames.

I want to see a generic Mike Tyson fight.

Knockout 13 seconds into round 1.

I assume Paul wins in a controversial decision , setting up the rematch where Tyson wins , setting up the 3rd fight where Tyson finally knocks him out after being knocked down once himself . Both of these guys make $100 million dollars from Netflix over the 3 fights and everyone leaves happy

Aren't they also wearing 14 ounce gloves for this? The standard would be 10oz, and that's a good advantage for Paul, I think (assuming that's the case).

Nah, the next fight will 100% be a PPV. This is to entice people into actually spending money cause Tyson will show "he should have won" or whatever.

So what time is the actual Tyson fight? I see it looks like it starts at 6PM MST, but then there are some undercards. I'm not going to have it on all night.
