Make the trades tonight. Get it over with. Forget about trying to grease another 6th round draft pick out of NJ conman.

Just end the drama. It’s wrecked the team.

Bow Tie Pizza, Matadors, Pauls Pizza, Crispy Crust Pizzeria. All absolutely incredible IMO, for the normal non-Neapolitan style.

I didn't see much of the game save for parts of the 3rd. Feels like the Flames are down because they know the changes are coming and their hearts just aren't in it at the moment.

Therefore I propose this: just f'ing play whether your buddy is being traded or not. If you're going to lose at least make the other team feel like they played the most challenging game of the season.

I don't mind seeing my team lose (when they're in the rebuild stages) if they work hard and make it entertaining.

I will reiterate that I will not be sucked back in again (this year). I’m going to put a reminder on my fridge.

Most definitely not the desired result, but the girls, wife, and I had a blast. Met ALL the mascots. Ate ALL the foods. Had ALL the fun.
Memories were made. Reminds me what really matters.

Started fine, collapsed after the first goal (should have been 4 on 4).

These last two games the team does seem distracted though...does feel like they are starting to look to the deadline a bit now

It's one thing to work hard for 60 and lose because of talent differential. But that's not this team's problem - sure they are not as talented as elite teams, but neither do they work hard.

How long has it been since they played a full 60 minutes? Almost two years?

It's time to burn this right to the ground. There's maybe 4-5 guys on this team that put in an honest effort every night. The rest are like cancer.

I know Conroy will move anyone he can to make this team better, but damn I wish it could happen faster.

Huby is an unflushed turd we will have to look at for the next 7 years.

I don’t think effort is a problem at all.

Execution? Skill? Definite problems.

Effort? Not a problem.

Really? Apart from a late flurry, they had 16 shots.

They are constantly lazily giving the puck away in the slot. Soft turnovers everywhere. They have two guys total that finish checks. And where is the net front presence on the PP? Savard is telling them to do that (Huska interview after the game), but it is hard and painful so they don't.

Effort/intensity/focus - whatever you want to call it there is something that they have complete control over that they are not delivering on a consistent basis.

If they were getting blown out but had a high GaS meter I would be fine with it. I've lived through all the Flames sucky years. It's teams like this year's Flames that I despise.

The 'team' not the players. You know what I mean.

I would say the "no effort" holds true for previous editions of the Flames. This year I would disagree. Huberdope is most definitely an unflushed turd. Biggest floater in Flames history.

Tommy’s in Canyon Meadows- fantastic crust, generous toppings, 50 years and counting. I recommend the Greek (Tommy’s Choice).

First game I went to in such a long time, and I was lucky enough to watch that mess. Sure the refs made two calls that should definitely not been made. But the compete effort from the team from the 10 min mark onward was laughable.

I did get to see the octopus get tossed, and the guy was sitting 20 feet from me, got tossed for doing it.

For Pizza in Calgary it’s Gondola Incomparable in SE Fairview area and specifically ‘The Boss’. I dream of this pizza lol.

Honest question; if they are working hard then is it the system that is causing all the turnovers and soft play that look like lapses? Is that what you are saying? What else could it be? The brain farts/lapses are not skill based.

Pizza reco's are the highlight of today's Flames experience. I'll have to try these out. Thanks!

Perhaps he's not the right guy. He may not be.

Anyways we get it. You hate Huska and haven't been willing to give him a chance since Day 1 and go miles out of your way to blame him for everything.
Just because I didn't like the hire it doesn't mean my complaints about his coaching are all invalid.

Two absolutely embarrassing losses, but thank god he didn't do something insane like the lines up.

I think one thing that helps players play well is having confidence, or positive feelings. Markstrom is somebody the guys know, and somebody some guys look up to. They don't know if their buddy's going to be there playing that day or the leaving next..., suddenly doubts are creeping in because they don't know if the team is throwing in the towel, or going for the playoffs. New guys are coming in, friends are possibly leaving. Then you have fans blaming it on the coach, the goalie, the PP. I think Calgary's got some really smart educated fans, but then there's some who complain about everything and not taking anything reasonable into consideration.

You the fans asked for this, you asked for the guys to be traded, you asked the general manager to do something, you asked for Wolf to come up and play right away (,whether he was ready or not.) Then some of you turn around and complain about all of those things... Let's lower our expectations, back off and give the organization coaches time to accommodate work through some of these changes.

Some people clamored for a rebuild or retool, so let's stop whining about it and enjoy the wins when we get them. You all know this already, some things are going to get worse before they get better, so let's collectively stop complaining about it.
