Kind of felt bad for the Bruins game caller. He really shouldn't be doing it any more.

Interesting comment. Brad would have gone after big names on the market but it seems other teams know something about the players they are letting go. Still a bit early to tell but looks like Conroy has a better read on players' attributes and abilities.

Conroy made comments that Kuzmenko just may need a change of scenery and could mesh better with a different coach. Kind of like what we saw with Sam Bennett. Treliving's pick up of Troy Brouwer and J Neal, are interesting as both had issues that were masked. Have to like what we are seeing so far. To be fair Coleman was a fantastic Treliving pickup.

I haven't enjoyed a game like I enjoyed tonight's game in a long time.
I was excited when they were in the offensive zone and didn't panic when they were in the D zone. Looks like they know where their teammates were.

I'm getting ahead of myself but wouldn't it be something to make 8th & play Vancouver in round 1.

Should've been a shutout for Jacob. Unlucky tip on the goal against.

It’d be funnier if the Canucks completely missed

Conroy so far has targeted high skill in bringing in Sharangovich & Kuzmenko. Badly needed on this team but also increasing Huberdeau’s value to this team at the same time. If we can turn him back in to the player he was in Florida, that’s like acquiring another skilled forward.

Such a small sample size but really hoping this clicks

Edmonton is going to keep winning
They finish first in the west
The entire hockey world crowns them “best team ever”
We make second wildcard
Sweep them in round one

Conroy played on 6 pro teams, and was a guy who did a lot with a failry limited skill set, playing very different roles on various teams: defensive specialist, top line centre, grizzled vet. I think he has a really good read on players, from what he's done so far. I think Treliving had good points but he looked at past stats a lot more and maybe too much.

Markstrom has allowed 1G on 54 shots in the last 2GP. I can get used to that.

I loved the pace from the entire line-up. They were relentless.

The Huberdeau line looked dominant. Huberdeau at a 3PPG pace without Lindholm, I can get used to that. They were making play after play, finding each other, and creating space for each other. That's a very pleasant surprise.

The Pospisil 5 and a game was BS. Glad he drew into the lineup, because the Kadri line looks much better with him than without him.

Kylington with several very good plays to move the puck up the ice.

Pachal brought some snarl, big hits, and everything we've been missing on the 3rd pairng after losing Z. He reminds me of D. Engelland quite a bit.

Rooney held his own, got to play on the PK, for a bit, and looked good in a 4th line role. Pelletier also provided a ton of energy, and a good forecheck.

Kadri had himself a game, and Zary with another highlight reel goal.

Loved the way the Flames protected the net, and stuck for each other in a pretty fiesty game.

I really hope the league reviews Pospisil's infraction. No way they review that and don't come away with a 5 game suspension for the refs.

That might be the worst review and call I have ever seen.

Missed the first period as thought the game started at 5 in BC....nope! Thoroughly enjoyable...speed, pace, crisp passes, Hubey and Kadri looked totally engaged...team was excellent and full marks for the win!

Will not cheer for or encourage losses. Don't care where we end up if out of the POs. More important for guys to learn to win. (We're not the No Goods who know a thing or two about losing.)

Yeah, loved that they brought their sandpapers which were missing from all the games this year.
