Y'know, it's kind of a shame that I am not looking forward to a BoA at all. Even a little. Just due to the sheer expected amount of game management and favoritism for the Coilers.

Why is Oesterle in over Desimone . He's been terrible. Often gives the puck away in his own zone. He struggles to even make a pass behind his net to his partner. He handcuffed Desimone a dozen times last game.

It wasn't. They lossed 4 of their next 5 and their coach got the can. Then it was a mix of wins/losses. Their current streak started Dec 21.

Last game Singh did for us I put the TV on mute and played music instead, and it was actually a pretty good experience. I think I'll avoid the Oiler nonsense tonight as well.

Desimone was 95% responsible for 2 of Matthews' goals Thursday. Decent offensively, terrible defensively.

Agreed. I'm not even sure if I'm going to bother tuning in. You already know McDavid will embellish a penalty, Calgary will be down a man with 5 minutes left, and the media won't stfu about Oilers Oilers Oilers. That's just not entertaining, I can have more fun doing something else

I just don't understand why people complain about this. Singh has been doing the late game for several seasons now. People on both sides think he's extremely biased against their teams. Maybe it's you?

Nah they fell apart again and fired Woodpecker.
IMO it's the Flames who turned the corner, such as it is, more after that weekend. They were 2-7 after that loss. The supposed edict from Edwards that all extension talk was on hold that weekend so maybe there was more clarity and less off ice distraction for some guys...ie Zadorov gone a few weeks later.
Flames have been a decent 19-12-5 since the Outdoor game.
