Brodie gets shafted around here now that he isn’t a Flame. He was Gio’s best partner (yes, even over Hamilton). Not only did he help Gio win the Norris one year, but he was also our best defenseman during the 2015 playoffs when our top pairing was Brodie and Engelland. For me, it has nothing to do with him being an ex-Flame. I don't roll like that. But since moving to Toronto, I watch a lot of Leaf games and he's been very bad. Not sure what happened, but a very different player. Very well could just be the different systems deployed in Toronto vs when he was in Calgary.

They don't necessarily have to agree. Hanifin has an 8-team no-trade list, Tanev has a 10-team list. I'm not sure either one had room for Toronto on their list after starting with ‘Edmonton, Edmonton, Edmonton, No Good, Shelbyville, what the hell Winnipeg, Edmonton’.
