Just got home from the game. It was fun, I tell ya!

PS Saw Conroy and Maloney at their box both wearing grim unhappy faces…

Are you insinuating that this game is the Hockey equivalent of Goretex?

It did feel a bit over-insulated at times, yeah…

A tad cumbersome and awkward but it gets the job done.

Good game. Coleman is on a tear. Huberdeau is looking more confident. Sell the UFAs and keep rolling.

More crazy Sharangovich numbers...

At even strength, they have been outscored 42-29 while he is on the ice - worst on the team. By a lot. Hard to argue with that stat, right?

But short-handed, in the 70 minutes of time that has been on the ice killing penalties, the score has been 6-6. Yes, 6 PP goals against, and 6 shorties for! That sounds like a hell of a defensive player, right?

So which is it? Is he great, or does he suck? It seems rather unlikely that an elite PKer is also the worst defensive forward on the team.

I think the most likely scenario is that there is stuff going on at even strength that isn't his fault (the bad goaltending for instance).

I expected that. I said Sharangovich would outscore Toffoli even strength this year.

Great game by the Flames. Particularly Hanifin and Sharongovich.

Kuznetsov looked good too. I think they should send Oesterle down when Gilbert is back.

I said he would outscore Toffoli over 3 years, but I didn't think he would do it this year.

That was a really fun game to be at! Dad and I were a bit worried after the second, but what a hell of a third!

Way to go, Flames!

Coleman should be going to the goddamned All-Star Game.

I'm glad he's not, but lets be honest...He's been kicking ass and taking names all year.

Man oilers fans are hilarious with their collective amnesia. The gall to call out Ottawa when the only difference between the two teams is a generational player that the oilers lucked out to draft.

I would trade for tachuck. That guy is really struggling to stay composed on that team and do you blame him? Ottawa makes all these moves and still looks terrible. The goalie situation is their Achilles heel.

Ah well, we boosted the value of some guys and let’s not loose focus of what we are. Still middling but nice to put in a show for the home crowd. How is Goalman not our all star?

Now go look at the standings assuming we beat Chicago…

We’re knocking on the door.

Being a bubble team is not something to celebrate, it’s what this team was always going to be.

They’re not good, and refuse to be bad enough to enact real change.
