Except Treliving would’ve plugged the last roster spots with old vets, not young call-ups like Conroy has.

General Managers aren't the ones making the day-to-day decisions about who makes the team, and who is playing any given night. Treliving did not call-up Jakob Pelletier last year to have him sit for days in the press box. His coach did that.

I will be at the game tonight. Hoping for a BIG WIN.
Shall I look for Treliving and pass on some thoughts?

It's sad that Huberdeau is associated with one of the best donuts. OFPs are great.

TBF, Treliving did sign some marginal vets and trade for others, so Sutter had that "sit him out" option. I suppose he could have moneyballed Sutter by getting rid of anyone but kids for the bottom 6.

One of the greatest of all time. Record setting even, but they've been a bit dry lately and need to get back to being great.

Exactly. My problem is with this idea that Treliving was somehow holding his own drafted players back from success.

Conroy has been in the GMs office for like 14 years or something. Its silly to say this is Tre's roster or Conroy's roster. Conroy has been a part of everyone that is on this team today. Tre had final say (some one say Edwards did) but Conroy and Snow had a big impact on decisions and suggestions and advice and drafting everyone in the ice.

GOAT!

D pairings all look good, and I don't mind that 2nd line too much... but every other forward line has a deal breaker on it, which is odd since our extra guy is top-six quality.

I think the entire line up looks too soft.
