I don't see that at all. He's clearly doing better than last season already. He's trying. He's made a ton of great passes this season already that linemates couldn't do anything with. And he's going to keep getting better as the season goes along.

Great win. Hopefully they start practicing breakaways/shootouts along with the 3 on 3

What does Huberdeau have to do around here to get some credit? Score a hat trick and take your mom out for a nice sea food dinner?

Good win and the Flames showed good composure to keep the lead after the fourth goal despite Buffalo answering each time before. I liked Huberdeau, Backlund, Dube and the 4th line tonight.

Wouldn't your opinion of him go up if he did that? Mine would

Certainly the sea food dinner would have to be better than just "nice".

kidding aside, Huby is looking much better this year. 100pts maybe.

Like this 4th line. Bring the energy every shift. Sabres have some good pieces but man they need to get it together soon.

Matchsticks & Gasoline
@MatchsticksCGY

Backlund and Mangiapane were the only #Flames forwards without a point in tonight’s victory, and no player had two points.

Very good team effort across the board.

A win is a win and there are no easy ones for the Flames. Vladar bounced back and made some good saves, Sharongovich looked dangerous. See what they have for Johnny tomorrow.

I’d actually be annoyed with Kadri and Lindholm if I was Huberdeau haha.
Vladar settled in after two weak goals.
Every line contributed which is how they’ll have to win. So that’s nice to see

This just in, the NG's with only 3 shots in the 3rd on a losing game. More good news!

That’s a solid win and Huberdeau was good. He’s not Mario Lemieux, never going to win games single-handedly.

I’m pretty happy with the start to the season for the club.

A play that kind of sums up why it doesn't always work with Huberdeau and his passes is in Florida it seems like they always got the puck and turned up ice and it was go. It's a bit more structured here.

He sees the ice very well he had Andersson for a wide open rush from our own end and made the pass for him to go get but Andersson stood still and it banks off the boards and it's a turnover.

Little plays like that if they hit they can create more offence. Or get momentum going.

He's a bit of a clunky skater.

That Rel xGF% of -15.72% (4th last / Kadri is dead at at -27.68% lol) isn't so sexy.

Has muuuuch to improve on. Especially his passing / turnover rate

Anyone see anything special in Krebs? I don't see why he's any more hyped than Pelletier.
