So from all the trade deadline pick-ups the one who winds up getting the most playoff points is ...Ivan Barbashev from Vegas

My only concern with the VGK was their goaltending and they've proven there is no issue there.
My apologies to Cali but I have to take the VGK in 6 here based on depth alone.

I would love to see an underdog story come true and see Florida pull this off but I think its a stretch.

Hopefully the league sees this salary cap hole and finds a way to fix it after a team wins the cup using it.

I consider this a pretty interesting matchup. The Knights didn't do themselves any favors by letting the Stars stick around but I still think they are the deeper team that should be able to grind the Panthers down so I will take Knights in 7 games.

That’s what I’m wondering, especially since their success rested on a very hot Bob, who’s now been sitting at home cooling off.

You mean 7 days for the last 3? unless I'm on glue.

Vegas in 7 or Florida in 6. I think someone wins it all in their own barn.
Both good teams in OT, this series will depend on how well the coaches strategically deploy their lines, especially on the road when you don't have the last change.

Saved the Knights season having to move from Brossoit. If he stayed in net, I don't think they would have made it past Edmonton.

Not sure who I want to win. Maybe Panthers as it would suck for many flames fans to have Tkachuk spurn the team and go on to win the very next year.

I am heading to Vegas tomorrow until Monday so I am interested to see if I feel a vibe in the city for the Knights. I don’t really care who wins but if I get to choose I choose Vegas. I don’t like the narrative that we trade away a franchise player that carries a team to the cup in his first year. I want to get the narrative started how smart it was for Eichel to get out of Buffalo and how he won a cup before McDavid and Connor needs to do the same thing and leave Edmonton to get his cup

I sort of hope McDavid never gets one. A few years a go when I was still on HF, I made a prediction he'd be this eras Marcel Dionne by having a great career but no post season hardware. It would be nice to be right for a change.
Someone has to be the best player in history to never win the cup.

			I'm still bitter Tkachuk left.
So I'm going for Vegas and hoping Eichel wins the Conn Smythe.

It'll be funny that Vegas was only in the Sad Club for 5 years, and the Canucks 50+ years

So you want Panthers to win because it would suck for many Flames fans? I'm confused.

I hope Florida destroys them. Vegas is a garbage franchise that fudges the salary cap every damn year to try and get an advantage and treats it's personnel and players like trash. The only team I despise more is the No Goods up North. If Vegas wins I wonder if the league finally addresses the LTIR abuse issue for playoffs.

Rather wild that both NBA and NHL likely to see first time champs this year. That has to be a rare occurrence.
