It’s decent. Would definitely be bigger if they didn’t raise the prices to $55 a ticket on ticketmaster. Game 2 last round was better attended when they were at $40

Kind of limped that one over the line. Going to be tough to take 2 out of 3 in CV but if they can play like tonight there’s a decent chance.

Yeah, it's interesting that CV went 3-1 in Calgary and Calgary went 3-1 in CV during the regular season. Might be another reason they weren't worried about starting at home.

I’m a huge Poirier guy, but I didn’t think he was 1st star good. I would have probably picked Wolf or Pelletier tonight. I think it’s just the 2A That put him up 1st.

So next it's a 3 game series on the road. Totally doable, but I hate this scheduling

Nice to see Wolfy bounce back after a less than stellar performance last game, expected as much though, Like Kipper, the kid forgets loses fast.

What impresses me so far in the limited games I’ve seen him on tv is he never panicks when he has the puck and the opposing players are pressuring him.
Head fakes to gain time and space and then skate it away, reverses to his D and some really good lob wedges that not only relieves pressure but puts it in some good spots where the Wrangler forwards can pressure the opposing D.
Another thing I noticed is when attacking he is not scared to make plays as he knows there is a forward backing him up in case the other team goes the other way.
And when they do, because he is out of position, he picks up the trailer and then interchanges with forward who covered him.

I think the playoffs have shown that when the physicality of the playoffs ramps up that he is not a very effective player. Most of the time when I have noticed Phillips it is because he was knocked on his ass.

He always gets dumped, but he gets back up. He seems to be able to take a lot of abuse and keeps on fighting.
Also, 6 points in 6 games.

He made a beautiful pass that set up the second assist on the Pelletier goal.

When the level goes up in play offs it just means he is targetted more

Phillips and Pelletier (and to a lesser extent Duehr) are the only players that are regularly making skilled plays for the Wranglers. The rest of the forwards has just been a bunch of grinders outside of like 5 seconds of Zary magic last game.
