Why did Sportsnet just show a couple of highlights from last years playoffs vs the Stars (one with Johnny G) after the Stone interview prior to the commercial break? Lol. How does that even happen?

Zadorov is such a team player. After the Lucic goal, he went straight to the bench to thank Weegar for blocking that 91 mph shot by Derek Grant and hobbling off. Awesome!

If they had average stats, sure, but I don't fault the personnel as much as tough luck and brutal breakdowns by the team. Weird year.

So do you play Stone next game (assuming no Tanev)? Like he said, there was good and bad, and I think Gilbert is still a bit better.

They dont have more breakdowns than the average team they just don't get saves

Flames don't allow much...Ducks barely had a scoring chance this game

Oddly enough though, that happens more often than most would think. Heck, I still do that when time is limited to get a shot off. As well, I for sure some pros even do it too. Sometimes you just need to get it on net.

Yup. The way I've looked at the last two games is that we played two awful, chaotic, but skilled young teams and the games reflected that with a lot of goals both ways. Flames won them both, but they weren't pretty as both opponents are so scrambly. I'm optimistic because they managed to finally overcome the messy gameplay of these bottom feeder opponents though, as they couldn't for most of the season. Yes they had to gut out two ugly wins in a row, but they're showing more heart and fight and not rolling over and dying if they get behind early.
