No, he was getting the facts straight for the reporter. He was complimentary of Huberdeau and I take what he said as a compliment, not negative at all.

Iginla was sniping from the right wing his natural side not his off wing like Sutter said.

Scored tons of one timers from the left side.

My mental image of Iginla is scoring from the right side, to the far side, puck just above the pad, with the leg kick.

For sure, still scored lots of one timers from the left side though. That’s almost exclusively where he’d tee off when Tanguay was passing to him.

Anyway great game. Everyone played well. Lindholm, Huberdeau, Backlund and Markstrom were my standouts though.

You’re both right

He scored a lot of goals, so you can correctly remember many of both types

Off the rush, right side, shooting inside the far post
With Tangs, often on the PP, the Ovi style one timer. Pretty sure Ovi learned it from Iggy

(Huberdeau isn’t particularly a sniper though)

If we had Tanguay and Huberdeau on the same line it would be a glitch where they endlessly passed and never shot the puck

Love this narrative.

Fun fact: last time we Won, the PGT had more pages than the last time we lost. Look it up.

Go Flames! couldnt watch but looked like a fun one.
