Love seeing the Oil lose, especially after reading David Staples ridiculous tweet saying that, as long as the grease are healthy and get adequate goaltending, they'll win the Cup. Yeah, okay Davie.

Hmm. Would you look at that. 7 goals against. I though with Ekholm the Oilers were a defensive juggernaut who were going to win every game 6-0. Guess not. Averaging 4 GA in the 3 games he's played.

Bad news, the Predators have overtaken the Flames in the conference standings. Nashville is now in 9th place with one more point than the Flames. The Predators defeated the Bhawks 3-1 as they hung on to a 2-1 lead in the 2nd period until the empty net goal. Barrie scored the GWG for his new team.
The other Matt Murray goalie was in net for the Leafs and LOL, the Canucks scored 2 SHGs just 44 seconds apart on the same PK! Miller was in on both of those goals with 1g and 1a. Giuseppe was in the sin bin for a high sticking minor as the Canucks went on to a 4-1 victory. Leafs stink.
I am impressed with the Senators run of late. They've won 4 straight after beating the BJs 5-2. Chycrun, who had 2 points, was thrilled to be playing in front of his grandfather. Stutzle and Hamonic each had 2 goals. Ottawa is in a 4 way tie for 9th place, only 3 points back of the 8th place Penguins and 4 points behind the Islanders.
The Capitals were down 2-0 heading into the 2nd period and then delivered Capital punishment on the Sharks as Washington won 8-3. Good to see OV scoring 2 goals and 1 assist as he nears 1500 career points.
