Thank goodness Sutter is leaving the Kadri/Huberdeau pairing alone. It scared me that he might break them up and try something different. Whew.

Sutter is a great coach, but the insistence of playing Lucic is beyond maddening this year. Yes, I understand Reaves is playing for the Wild but does anyone think those two are going to drop the gloves tonight? I highly doubt it. Let's see what we have in Nick Ritchie.

Honestly, does Lucic really have to be in because of Reaves?
Other teams have beaten the Wild, with Reaves in, without a deterent in their line up.
Putting Lucic in clearly hampers this team offensively, certainly defensively.

I've never thought of him as one, but I can't see him being worse than Lucic. You might get something out of Ritchie. We know what we're getting from Lucic.

When I think of Reeves, it reminds me of the time he leveled TJ Brodie and sucked the momentum out of the Flames.

First post in a long time, what a frustrating unlucky season, really hope Markstrom has turned a corner. With his cap hit the Flames desperately need him to return to form. A win here and they still have a chance. Hopefully the players view the team not selling at the deadline as something to rally behind and they go on a burner. They are due.

No one is the fighter that Lucic is. As far as being a deterrent, that relies entirely on Lucic’s aggression, which hasn’t been there this year. And given he has 20 games left, who can blame him for not wanting to get into fights?
