Why not? Its not like Lindholm has been lighting the ice on fire.
Its a roster shakeup out of forced necessity, maybe it'll pay off.
At worst its a lateral move. Not to disparage Lindholm overall because I'm a huge Zebulon fan, but lately he hasnt been moving the needle in the right direction a lot.

He has had a pretty rough year in my opinion. Closer to the unknown commodity he was when leaving Carolina than the selke candidate potting 40 goals.
Of all the disappointments this year, outside Huberdeau/weegar being non-factors, lindholm showing he isn’t really a top line player is the biggest in my opinion. Markstroms fall is a distant third, his inability to get it together vs the oilers closed that door for me already.

While I agree he hasn’t been amazing, the Markstrom fall from grace is the reason we’re out of the playoffs. If he’s just his career average then the team is comfortably in the playoffs.

I cant believe all the people in groups trashing the Wings as a crappy team. They have the same points as the flames and lately have been one of the hottest teams in the league. Crushed all of the west teams out here this past week too. They are better than most think.
