It's very curious how the buck has always stopped somewhere far away from Darryl this year.

Sell every sellable piece that you can and inject some much needed youth, speed and creativity into this team.
They are uninspired and overpaid.

Treliving is not resigned and Sutter takes over the duties as GM.

With Huberdeau I can kind of see how he scored 115 points last year, he’s made like a half dozen real good passes all year.
With Kadri I have no idea how he paced 100 points last season. He can’t pass, can’t snipe, doesn’t do anything on offense at a high level. Had that beauty goal in the first game of the year but where’s the talent? Even worse as a C he can’t defend.
Not that anyone else on the team really seems to have any offensive pop but it’s pretty rough.

Last year was an anomaly for Kadri. He is a not a ppg centre by any stretch. He is a 50 point centre. I never expected him to get 80 points.
I did expect Huby to get more than 55 points a year.

It looks like they are playing Sutter hockey to me. A few defensive lapses, but in the offensive end it seems like the Sutter hockey I remember from his last 3 or 4 years with the Kings. Not really sure what the top line was doing last year.

My god these guys suck. Can’t wait for this useless season to be over. I won’t be putting in much of my time the rest of the year on these guys. Oh well, better luck next year? We seem to be in two year cycles

At least they'll be good leaders for a rebuild

Kadri was also playing with some real good players in Rant, Makar,Burakvsky, Landeskog and nichushkin

You can see now why nobody offered $7 million to Kadri and why Florida gave up Huberdeau and Weegar.
Anyway any panic move from GM is always bad. He should just go with a players what he had after Gaudreau and Tkachuk left. I'm sure this team will be same position right now.
FA Huberdeau and Weegar could be bringing nice returns if they are not extended.

Florida is worse off standings-wise though
Both those players were great there, even if they haven't been up to par here.
Sure Tkachuk is a point machine, but the team has suffered on the whole.
I think they'd prefer last year's iteration of their team over this one that might end up 9th

I think Kevyn Adams was onto something when he said he wanted players that wanted to play in Buffalo.
I don't think we have enough of that here. Tre was in a rush to prove that people wanted to play here after the two superstars left by signing Weegar, Kadri and Huberdeau.
But we weren't their first choice. We were the ones left over throwing the most money at them.
Feels like there is a real lack of buy-in this season and it starts with that.

Yup. He can take shots at every aspect from the team construction to the goaltending to the team preparedness and leadership, but nothing ever stinks on his end.
