Meh, he stopped 181 of 192 shots in a hard fought 7 game series. He was amazing enough especially considering the brick wall at the other end of the ice.

I do not hate Markstrom.

But how do you not run with Vladar. Or at least 50/50.

He’s a machine now.

That may be but the poster everyone is responding to said that Markstrom had never done anything in the playoffs, which is false.

It always feels weird to be a Flames fan and see other Flames fans actively cheering against one of our own.

Duehr played just under 10 min; nearly 13 min in the last game
solid 4th line minutes in both games. that is how you stick

Come on.
Didn't Markstrom stop a 2 on 1 or breakaway in OT game 7?

Wolf has been so exceptional at the pro level that there's little doubt that he is part of the future in net, and vladar has consistently been as good as markstrom or better since he came here. he was every bit as good as marky last year I felt (jm just had that early string of shutouts that set him apart)

the goal is to win, not saddle ourselves to players who have lost what they once had in hopes of rebuilding their confidence one day
No buyouts, please. Live with contractual mistakes. Minnesota is at a $12.7 million cap disadvantage this year, and $14.7 million for the next two years after this, for their Parise/Suter decision.

Solid W. Well earned by the team and a solid Vladar game - he should get the next start.

Mangiapane (and Backlund and Coleman) are playing very well right now.

Vladar.... just love saying the name and seeing the saves.

Solid win, not perfect, didn't need to be
