Eh, I dunno, there's class play and then there's being overly nice. Yeah don't dive and play clean, that's great, but if the ref makes a mistake maybe better to keep quiet instead of taking a PP away from your team... they wouldn't have paid him the favor if he was the one getting called.

It buys him credibility with the refs too, though. He may well get a call in the future that others wouldn't.

More than that though, I think he is making a statement to the league about diving and its growing propensity. And I think we all know who he is referring to.
