Pittsburgh has had success firing coaches mid season and promoting the ahl guy.

Cooper Bednar came from the AHL as well.

Mitch Love seems to have the Wranglers back on track.

Those same experts crapped all over the team in the summer before last. Their opinions mean very little.

When Tyler Toffoli is on your top line, your roster is lacking. When you’ve got $4.9M sunk into Blake Coleman and $5.25M into Milan Lucic, your overall skill level is generally not going to be high enough.

No Coleman and no Lucic = cap space for the additional $10M game breaker that this team lacks (not that are any to pay anyways, as you generally need to draft them to have them).

Winning in this league is done through your star talent. This team has one star, and so far it looks like a terrible fit here for him. One star is nowhere near enough.
