I figure just save whatever you feel you can handle and the kids will (SHOULD!) be thankful for the help when the time comes. If it covers what they like then great.. if they choose something that takes $200k then we can all figure out how to cover it at that point.
Ya I kind of figured I will be covering an undergrad degree, and if they want to specialize I will do whatever I can to help them (hey live at home for free) or whatever helps, but I'm not expecting to take on 200k worth of medical degree debt.. I mean we also have to retire at some point, lol.
