The team as a whole is not getting it done.
That wasn't a breakaway and the goalie needs to save it. The team is playing far from perfect for sure, but Markstrom and his 1 goal a game gimmies are destroying the team more than anything else.

Dude you can admit it was a terrible goal to let in. It's ok.

The underlying stats are still strong, just need those percentages to turn around.
I've almost given up waiting on the floodgates to open .. felt like they should have at some point in the last 3 outings with all the good things they were doing . don't get it

I don’t think it’s laziness they just play slow and need to speed it up massively. Quicker decisions which means having the available outlet pass in motion and open.

People keep bringing up 1986's 11 game losing streak. I'm not old enough to have been around for that, but I do get 2009-10 vibes from this team. sorry

On the 3rd goal, Markstrom did what I think has been his problem all season, he is sliding too far sideways and giving up the net. He basically slid out of Hischier's way and gave him the far side of the net.

When you are coming down the wing, and the defenseman has you cut off so that you have to shoot, the goalie should have NO TROUBLE cutting off the angle. But instead of coming out towards the shooter, he slid sideways.

He was beaten 5 times tonight

It wasn't a breakaway though. There was little to no chance there would have been a Deke. As a goalie in that position, he should be expecting a shot.

The flames biggest problem right now is that the entire team looks like it's made up of 3rd and 4th line grinders. Next to no skill on display. It's far too early to declare the season over, but we look an awful look like a team that's going to draft in the 10-15 spot.

That goal stung because it was a good close game but Kelly broke down the shot and showed the deception move the shooter made, that was not a weak goal it was a perfect shot.

I think it's funny that I can barely tell the differencewhen Huberdeau is playing and when he is not.

Unfortunately, that's what you get with such an old team. No young blood with energy.

It does seems like he's been sliding around a lot more, with less control and putting himself out of position. Maybe it's the shiny new pads; the leather's just a little too slick.

You don't have to keep posting the same thing over and over again. We get it - you think Markstrom was lights out tonight. It's the wrong opinion but don't need to post about it every 5 minutes.

watch the replay all alone until the shot, he had enough time to roll his wrists to make it look like he was shooting high
